Transport regulations and customer obligations
For your safety and comfort, we thank you for taking note of the following legal provisions. Drivers of public transport vehicles are subject to French regulations and EEC regulations, which set the working conditions, in particular the mandatory driving and rest times:
AMPLITUDE: Maximum 12 hours. Amplitude is the time between the start time and the end of service. A rest period of at least 8 consecutive hours must be respected with a new working amplitude.
DAILY DRIVING TIME: Maximum 9 hours, with the possibility twice a week to drive up to 10 hours.
CONTINUOUS DRIVING TIME: The Driver cannot drive without a break for more than 4 hours and 30 minutes.
MANDATORY DRIVING INTERRUPTIONS: A 45-minute break must be taken after a continuous driving period of 4 hours and 30 minutes. These 45 minutes can be split as long as the break is not less than 15 minutes (3 stops of 15 minutes for example).
DAILY REST TIME: 11 consecutive hours between two working days, if the rest is taken at home and 9 hours if it is taken outside. It can also be split with a period of at least 8 consecutive hours and 4 hours taken in periods of at least 1 hour (12 hours in total).
The Ordering Party or customer will be held responsible for non-compliance with the texts (decree n°92.699 of July 23, 1992), since it is required to verify that the driving times can be scrupulously respected. Any infringement may be prosecuted "PENALLY", and in the event of a check, any exceedance may be sanctioned for on-the-spot immobilization of the vehicle."
Insurance
In accordance with regulations, Francebus.com has insurance covering its professional liability, but it cannot replace the individual civil liability of the trip participants. Additionally, it is advisable to have a comprehensive insurance covering cancellation fees, repatriation, illness, and travel accidents.
It should be noted that as an intermediary, the insurance covering the passenger(s) is the insurance of the carrier chartered by FranceBus.com according to the user's request.
It is the responsibility of the trip participants to verify the risks they are covered for. Once the insurance is subscribed, no modification of the contract can be made. The client will receive an excerpt from the general insurance terms and conditions upon registration. When cancellation insurance is subscribed, it is the responsibility of the participants to inform the insurer directly of the cancellation or any other claim, according to the conditions and deadlines indicated in the insurance contract.

Working conditions applicable to coach users

3. Coach replacement: If repairing the coach is not possible within a reasonable time frame, the transport company may arrange for a replacement. They may send another coach to take over your journey and ensure you reach your intended destination. In some cases, this may take some time, so be prepared to wait or consider alternative transport options if necessary.

Any specific request not foreseen at the time of booking must be made to us at least 48 hours before the service: we need to calculate the routes and determine if the stopping point is possible based on addresses and specific regulations for bus or minibus transport. Every coach operator must ensure the safety of passengers, especially at departure and arrival points: boarding and alighting from buses or minibuses must be done safely for passengers and comply with local regulations. REPORT, CANCELLATION:
Any total cancellation must be notified at least 24 hours before the start of the service.
Otherwise, the company Francebus SAS reserves the right to charge cancellation fees:

- From 6 to 3 days before departure: 50% of the invoice
- Less than 48 hours before departure: 100% cancellation fee

With Francebus, no hidden fees are charged: we establish the transport plan upon your reservation, including all foreseeable expenses. These expenses typically include road tolls, fuel costs, parking fees, airport taxes, or access fees to train stations, etc. Additional fees may be applied, for example, in case of overtime, extra hours, additional services not planned, unexpected parking fees, driver meal expenses, additional management fees, etc. In all cases, we inform in advance when additional fees may be incurred. All payments must be settled before the service unless otherwise agreed.
