FRANCEBUS strives to protect the privacy of Users by respecting the laws and regulations in force and in particular Law No. 78-17 of January 6, 1978 relating to information technology, files and freedoms (hereinafter "the Information Technology and Freedoms Act").
This Personal Data Charter is an integral part of the General Conditions of Use of the Site.
Article 1 – Definitions
Order : means the Provision of services ordered by the Client.
Personal data : means any information directly or indirectly identifying a natural person.
Passenger: means the person who benefits from the Service Ordered by the Client (by himself or a third party) from FRANCEBUS.
Benefit : means all the Services whose performance is assumed by FRANCEBUS under this Contract, as provided for in the Quote.
Service : designates all the services offered by FRANCEBUS relating to the transport of people.
Site : means the FRANCEBUS website accessible at the following address: https://francebus.com/.
Treatment : means any operation, or set of operations, relating to personal data, regardless of the process used.
User : means any natural person accessing and using the Site or benefiting from the FRANCEBUS Services and in particular a Service as a Passenger.
Article 2 – Collection of Personal Data
While browsing the Site or using the Services offered by FRANCEBUS, the User may be required to communicate Personal Data concerning him/her to FRANCEBUS.
FRANCEBUS may use cookies to analyze traffic and use of the Site. Information about each Cookie, its features, and its retention period are presented on the Site, via the "Customize" tab of the Site's Cookies banner.
When using the Site or the Services, the following User Personal Data may be processed by FRANCEBUS:
- Their identification data (surname, first name, date and place of birth, gender, etc.)
- Their contact details (postal address, telephone number, email address, IP address, SIREN/SIRET number, etc.);
- His bank details;
- His location coordinates and movements;
- Its Orders (Services ordered, Prices, invoices, ratings given to Users, etc.).
Article 3 – Purposes of processing
FRANCEBUS collects and processes the User's Personal Data for the following purposes:
- Know and understand the User's needs;
- Verify the User's identity;
- Manage the commercial relationship with the User;
- Respond to User requests and solicitations;
- Process questions or requests for information by post and/or electronically and/or by telephone;
- Produce and analyze statistical data to analyze and improve the use, security and performance of the Site;
- Dealing with system errors;
- Communicate commercial offers, targeted information or advertisements to the User;
Article 4 – Retention period
The User's Personal Data is kept for 24 (twenty-four) months following the Service from which he/she has benefited.
Article 5 – Consent
By accessing or using the Site or the Services, the User accepts the rules relating to the collection, processing and use of Personal Data as set out below.
Article 6 – Processing of Personal Data
FRANCEBUS strives to collect and process Personal Data fairly and lawfully.
In this respect, FRANCEBUS ensures that the User concerned by the processing is informed of the purpose of this processing, the retention period of the processed data, the data controller and the recipient of the processing.
FRANCEBUS undertakes to make its best efforts to take the necessary measures to guarantee the security of the Personal Data it has collected and to avoid their disclosure to unauthorized third parties.
Article 7 – User Rights
The User concerned by the processing of Personal Data has the right to object, which can be exercised at any time by contacting FRANCEBUS under the conditions defined below. In the event that this right is exercised, the User will no longer be able to access the features of the Site requiring the processing of their data.
The User also benefits from a right of access, rectification and erasure of his Personal Data, allowing him in particular to access information concerning him and to demand that his Personal Data be, as the case may be, rectified, completed, updated or deleted.
The User also benefits from a right to portability allowing him/her to recover the Personal Data concerning him/her processed by FRANCEBUS for his/her personal use and/or to transfer them to a new organization.

The User must indicate in his request his surname, first name, date of birth, postal address and e-mail.
FRANCEBUS has a response period of one (1) month from the date of receipt of the User's request.

Article 9 – Recipient of processing
The User's Personal Data may be communicated by FRANCEBUS to the following third parties:
- The driver(s) of the vehicle in order to enable him to perform the Service;
- Administrative or judicial authorities, when this disclosure is necessary for the identification, arrest or prosecution of any individual likely to harm the rights of FRANCEBUS, any other User or a third party.
- The TRAFCIN cell (article L. 561-2 of the monetary and financial code);
- FRANCEBUS service providers and subcontractors providing a service on behalf of FRANCEBUS and/or in its name in order to enable FRANCEBUS to provide its Services (as provided for in the T&Cs and T&Cs).
Article 10 – Security of Personal Data
FRANCEBUS makes its best efforts to ensure the security of the User's Personal Data by implementing technical, physical, electronic and administrative protection measures proportionate to the risks incurred and in compliance with applicable regulations.
FRANCEBUS cannot be held responsible for risks related to the operation of the User's internet network. It is the User's responsibility to ensure that means are in place to secure their internet network.
Article 11 – Updating the Personal Data Charter
FRANCEBUS reserves the right to update this Personal Data Charter of the Site at any time and without notice.
When using the Site, the User is required to regularly refer to the latest version of the Site's Personal Data Charter.
